You can apply a new background on LinkedIn using this extension.

Follow the steps below

1. Download the ZIP file and extract it in a single folder
2. Go to chrome://extensions/

3. Turn on Developer Mode

4. Click on Load Unpacked

5. Select the folder to which to extracted the files
6. Navigate to https://www.linkedin.com/feed/
7. If you see the backgroud is changed, you are all set!
