Keith,

UQ postdoc Dr Nelly Raymond (supervised by Mike Bell) has done a literature review on P data and modelling with a special focus on alkaline clay soils. She has planned to do some experimental work to measure P availability with the aim to improve P initialisation and modelling with APSIM. She is working with me for the modelling part.

I think a workshop would be good, but may be in a few months so that people can have more to report and discuss?

Don't think we should, We should be trying to get the various groups interested in soil P together to come up with a plan for P in next gen.

@hut104 - this was discussed in the last RP meeting and it was agreed that this workshop should proceed but noted you are likely to be undertaking the lion share of the development (when the time comes). I'm happy to coordinate and help in anyway. @Keith-Pembleton will be in contact to discuss intent, resources and depending on agenda/intent, timing for this workshop.
