Movement Speed 3.0 Test F (Release candidate)
Pre-release
Pre-release
New:
- Added Cataclysm Classic 4.4.1, vanilla Classic 1.15.4 & The War Within 11.0.5 support.
- Added Skyriding (Dragonriding) speed support for the Player Speed display.
- A separate independently customizable Travel Speed display has been added (not available for Classic versions). Settings values can be copied by category from one display to the other.
- Added a new "swap" chat command to be able to change which display is modified by chat commands (Player Speed or Travel Speed - not available in Classic).
- Added settings Profiles to be able to have different setups for different characters: settings profiles are shared on account but profiles can be chosen and applied on a per character basis. Usable via Data Management settings or chat commands (with limited functionality at present).
- Added new display positioning options allowing for more fine-tuning.
- Positioning visual aids have been added via Widget Tools (a foundational addon - also developed by me - Movement Speed is built with). Toggle the use of visual aids in the Widget Tools settings.
- Default settings values are now displayed for every setting in their mouseover tooltips. Right-clicking settings opens a menu to revert changes made or restore default values to them individually.
- Added a new shorter chat command :
/ms
alongside/movespeed
. (If conflicts with other addons arise, please do report it as an issue so I can make adjustments in the future!)
Changes & Fixes:
- Shortcuts have been removed from the main addon settings page in Classic.
- Readded the ability to open specific settings pages from the display right-click menus (as Blizzard has finally - mostly - solved the issue).
- Now a different method is used for throttling speed updates to conserve some system memory.
- The look of checkboxes have been updated to match the new settings style.
- Significant under the hood improvements & fixes.
