Restaurant recommendation system app written for Android
App developed for a class project where the main goal was to provide the user a system that could track his location and suggest nearby restaurants displayed in a Map. Restaurant owners can register in the system and create an entry for their restaurants. Similarly, normal users can create an account and make reservations in the registered restaurants.
For the backend we used Rust with MariaDB as a database storage. In terms of frontend we developed the app in Android Studio using Java.
