Soon, GitHub will deprecate the upload-artifacts v3 action: https://github.blog/changelog/2024-04-16-deprecation-notice-v3-of-the-artifact-actions/ This PR updates the action to the latest version, v4. It also updates the checkout action to the latest version, v4, as well.

The build-tests are failing here, probably because of a CI issue (which was languishing in the PR queue for 'develop'); I have merged the CI fix, and now duplicated this present PR (#5 ) but for develop (as #6 ). The build-test for the latter is running, and after merging it we can pull 'develop' into 'main'. |
