Decks Tab
The Decks tab lets you do a few things:
- allocate which decks you have in each of the nine Custom Decks slots in Hearthstone
- 'construct' decks: load decks from HearthStats.net into Hearthstone
- 'export' decks: save decks from Hearthstone onto HearthStats.net
Create your decks on the HearthStats.net site first, then return to the Decks tab to allocate your decks to each slot. Your allocation on the Decks tab must match how you have allocated your custom decks in Hearthstone.
You can use the Delete (X) button to remove a deck from HearthStats Companion in the same way as you do on Hearthstone. The remaining decks will shift to match what you have in Hearthstone.
The HearthStats Companion can automatically import a deck into Hearthstone for you. To use this feature, navigate to to 'My Collection' in Hearthstone, choose an empty deck slot, then click the 'Construct' button in the HearthStats Uploader. The HearthStats Uploader will then take over your mouse for a few seconds while it creates that deck for you in Hearthstone.
The HearthStats Companion can automatically export a deck from Hearthstone, saving it on HearthStats.net. This is a lot more convenient than having to manually create each deck on the website!
Click the 'Export Deck to HearthStats.net' button to start. A popup will display instructions on what to do next:
Once you've navigated to your deck in Hearthstone, the HearthStats Uploader will take over your mouse for a second and scroll through the card list. It takes screenshots and uses OCR to identify the cards in your deck. The popup will now show the deck that it identified:
Check that the cards were detected correctly, then click Export to save it onto HearthStats.net. Generally we find that the detection is very accurate if you have a relatively large screen (1600x1200 or larger) but sometimes makes mistakes if you have a relatively small screen (1024x768). If you have a smaller screen, make sure you check for mistakes.
You can edit the deck to fix mistakes, or even just to change a card or two! The format is simple:
[number of cards] [name of card]
So if you have two Argent Squires, simply write:
2 Argent Squire
If you misspell a card name, or get the format wrong, another popup will tell you and give you an opportunity to fix it up.
