This is the port of the PC8801 MKII SR core by Puu-san.

Features

  • Modes N, N88V1L, N88V1H, N88V2
  • CPU Speeds (4MHz and 8MHz)
  • 2 Floppy Drives using D88 format
  • Sound chip YM2603 by default and ADPCM
  • Mouse support (Changed between Mouse and Joypad on the OSD)

Installation

Copy the PC88_*.rbf file to the root of the SD card. Create a PC8801 folder on the root/games of the card, and place PC8801 floppies (*.D88) inside this folder.

  • boot.rom = PC8801 MKII SR BIOS file. Required to start the core.

Special key assignments are as follows:

(PC88->PS/2)

  • STOP -> End
  • CLR -> Home
  • HELP -> F11
  • GRPH -> Alt
  • COPY -> Print Screen
  • PC -> Scroll Lock

Sound Board II

On the OSD, there is an option to choose between Expansion (Default) or Onboard because some software only supports Onboard or Expansion board. You could find more informations on this issue ticket #11.

  • Gamma correction doesn't seem to change anything (?)
