Thank you very much for this very respectful and nicely written text! While one dimension of a grant is certainly about the financial support it is also nice to see that you have digested my work and were able to summarize it accurately! I have added in a few comments feel free to reject / ignore them but I thought while being at it I could just annotate them

I think I only helped answering questions to the developer who created renepay

maybe best to just scratch that one off the list for the sake of simplicity

This LTS grant is now instrumental in René's ongoing efforts to enhance reliable
payment planning, efficient payment routing, and explore innovative liquidity
management strategies on the Lightning Network. He’s currently focused on

He’s currently focused on researching non-minimum cost flow based methods to optimize the expected delivery of Satoshis and is inviting feedback on this question about how to compute the expected number of sats to arrive in a probabilistic payment flow

would it make sense to set up for example a mailchimp mailinglist with a call to action (so people could sign up if they want to be notified for the webinars?) I mean I will announce them once they are ready anyway and I kind of don't want to maintain a mailinglist.

maybe easier if your webinar software has a built-in mailing list feature?
no worries if it's a hassle

yeah I think I can announce it later. I think the announcement doesn't need the call to action yet

Fueled by gratitude for his scholarship from the German National Academic Foundation, his four consecutive Bitcoin Developer Grants from BitMex, and the everyday benefits of the open-source software he uses, René has centered his career on giving back to the communities that supported him on his path.

just one more tiny note: Even while just in german I am fairly proud that I have tought a class about bitcoin together with J9 at Deutsche Schülerakademie
This falls also into the gist of voluntary work and giving back (as I have been teaching such acadamies frequently over the last 15 years). However I myself didn't find a good spot in the text to integrate it. If you see fit feel free to add it (:
