XRLinux will be closing down soon due to a Troll attack on Twitter that occurred on 21/2/2024. After no community support was offered to support this project (a developer was found but no testers volunteered) it was decided that it was best to take the project internal. It was clear that without community support from Quest owners or journalists/XR organisations the project would forever be at the mercy of trolls.

Welcome to Anjin Virtual Computer

Anjin Virtual Computer enables you to run Operating Systems such as WindowsXP or Linux on your Quest.

Its main features are

  • Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality versions
  • Graphical support for desktops including experimental 3D acceleration
  • Networking support
  • Virtual keyboard and mouse
  • Based on Qemu so VMs can be moved from Desktop Qemu to the Quest
  • AR Version has transparency control and multiple monitor modes- Standard, Desktop Curve and Cinema Curve.
