The Vivantio API currently accepts Basic HTTP authentication only. An API 'power user' is available by default in all Vivantio installations with unlimited access; the username and password for this account can be found in the Vivantio admin area under Admin > Integration & API > Downloads. You can control API access for other accounts in the Users section of the admin area.
