2012

• 2012-11-09: Specifications are written for a rewrite of dumpgenerator.py to fully benefit of MediaWiki WebAPI (probably via pywikipediabot framework).
• 2012-08-06: Uploader script is finally coded and we start to make some test uploads before people launch it to upload the thousands TaskForce downloaded dumps.
• 2012-06-07: The SpeedyDeletion tool has been running for some weeks collecting English Wikipedia articles to be deleted every 30 minutes. The articles are being saved at Internet Archive and speedydeletion.wikia.com.
• 2012-05-17: Wikimedia projects dumps are now mirrored in three different locations around the globe. Very good news.
• 2012-04-25: Steven Leeman archives Fon wiki (WebCite) and uploads it to Internet Archive. Thanks!
• 2012-04-07: We start a TaskForce to archive 7,000+ wikis from a list by Andrew Pavlo (2009).
• 2012-04-05: WikiTeam 1st Birthday! \o/
• 2012-03-03: WikiTeam tools need a Graphical User Interface ([GUI]) to reach a greater community. We start to work on this.
• 2012-02-27: We start to archive Wikimedia Commons. Source code and file lists available. We are doing some tests.

2011

• 2011-12-16: Using WikiIndex semantic properties to generate a dynamic List of wikibackups with many work to do! We are recruiting, we need a lot of help!
• 2011-12-02: http://15demayo.info/wiki/ went offline in an undefined moment in the past. It was about the 2011 Spanish Revolution protests. We grabbed a copy in July. Dude, our mission is an important one.
• 2011-11-30: New backups of OpenSUSE and WikiIndex wikis sent by Hydriz are uploaded. Thanks!
• 2011-11-10: Archive Team uploads to Internet Archive one of the last image dumps published by Wikimedia Foundation. It contains 296,000 images in 77GB. What a great work.
• 2011-10-27: ScottDB wikibackups site reaches 100 archived wikis milestone. Keep up the good work!
• 2011-10-24: Ian McEwen sent us a dump of https://hampedia.org Thanks!
• 2011-10-13: More than 10 years after Wikipedia was started, the first Wikimedia projects official mirror is created. Thanks to Centro de Computação Científica e Software Livre (C3SL), at the Universidade Federal do Paraná in Brazil!!!

• 2011-05-05: Finally, all the texts of Andalusian Encyclopedia Wikanda have been archived.
• 2011-05-04: The In Memoriam wiki was a former Wikimedia project on the September 11, 2001 attacks. A backup from 2007 have been found.
• 2011-04-29: ersi sent us a backup generated with our dumps generator. The wiki archived is !BitCoin.it in English. Thanks!
• 2011-04-28: Archived OSLUCA wikis: WikiUNIX, !WikiHaskell, WikiRA, WikiCE, Wikijuegos, !WikiFormación.
• 2011-04-22: Archiving Citizendium, !RationalWiki and !DeletionPedia.
