Eclipse is a number of different things. Most people think that it is just a cross-platform Integrated Development Environment (IDE). It is this, and much more, as the Eclipse platform consists of a number of frameworks and components.
Archi is built upon one of those frameworks, the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP). Archi is also developed using the Eclipse IDE.
Here are a number of helpful articles:
- RCP FAQ - A wiki with lots of useful RCP info.
- Rich Client Platform RCP home with lots of useful resources.
- What is RCP and why should I care? A useful overview.
If you value and use Archi please consider making a donation. Thanks!
