I'm not seeing this behavior on my end -- does this happen from a certain window (chat, settings, welcome page, etc)?

Just tried it out, happens on all the screens for me. I saw this error in the network tools. Lmk if you need more info.

encountered this as well, also happens for force reload SHIFT+CMD+R

Just confirming that we've been able to reproduce this and have an attempted fix in progress:
