Parts Used

  • 1x Frame - Lumenier QAV-R 2 Deadcat Freestyle Quadcopter Frame 5"
  • 4x Motors - EMAX ECO II Series 2306 (1700kv)
  • 1x Battery - OVONIC 6S Lipo Battery 100C 1550mAh 22.2V Lipo Battery with XT60 Connector
  • 1x Controller - RadioMaster Boxer EdgeTX RC Transmitter - ELRS 2.4GHz BLACK
  • 4x Propellers - Gemfan Hurricane DP 51477 3-Blade
  • 1x Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) - MINI F45A 6S 4IN1
  • 1x MPU9250
  • 1x Raspberry Pi Pico W
  • 4x Propeller Guards - Stan FPV 5" Injected UDP Propeller Guards

How to build

  1. Assemble frame
  1. Mount motors to frame

  2. Solder motors to ESC and battery connection

  3. Attach Raspberry Pi Pico W/IMU/BEC unit to the frame. Make sure the imu is leveled with the frame

  4. Attach propellers

  5. Attach ducts

  6. Attach and secure battery

  7. Wait till the onboard LED flash green

  8. Pull the controller to the lowest throttle position
