Applications

jeremysherriff edited this page Jul 12, 2019 · 10 revisions

Below you will find information for each application that is pre-installed with OpenFLIXR.
Paths provide in "URL" are relative to "http://openflixr" or "http://YOUR_DOMAIN" if you set up remote access.
"Direct Access" can only be used on your local network unless you forward your ports (not recommended).
If your network isn't set to recognize the "openflixr" hostname, use the Local IP address instead.

Configuration

While most of the configuration is handled by the setup script, there are still some things that need to be done manually. Any applications that have specific manual configurations that need to be done will be listed here.

Plex

To claim and configure Plex, go to http://x.x.x.x:32400/web/ and Plex will guide you through the rest!

Make sure you use the :port notation for the first access! E.g.

http://192.168.0.100:32400/web/

After that is complete, you'll be able to access Plex via http://openflixr/web/

Jackett

Jackett is a proxy for torrent searching. Configure your torrent sites there, then add the Torznab feed Jackett provides for each to Hydra.
To access Jackett, go to http://x.x.x.x/jackett

Hydra

While you can configure your indexers through each individual application, it is recommended that you use Hydra for a few reasons:

  1. It makes the management of your indexers be all in one place!
  2. It gives stats!
  3. All the applications should already be looking at Hydra for searching indexers. (If you find anything that is not or is incorrect, please let us know.)

To access Hydra, go to http://x.x.x.x/nzbhydra/
You can then configure your NZB Indexers and Torrent sites configured in Jackett.

Issues & Troubleshooting

If you are having trouble with a particular application, start with that application's support site when looking for information on how to fix the issue.
