Do‐not‐Download Groups

Normally when a HTML web page is downloaded, any images, fonts, JavaScript, CSS, or other embedded URLs are also downloaded at the same time. Sometimes, however, you don't want these embedded URLs to be automatically downloaded:
- You may not want to download embedded advertisement images.
- A particular domain containing embedded URLs might alway respond with an error page.
- A particular domain containing embedded URLs might not respond at all.
- Some URLs may be incorrectly identified as embedded. In particular some Script References to URLs with an image file extension might not actually be embdded.
To avoid automatically downloading embedded URLs that match a particular URL pattern, create a new Group with the desired URL pattern and check the "Do not download" advanced option:
Note that a URL will be marked as 🚫 only if it is in at least 1 "do not group" group AND it is not in any groups which are not marked as "do not download".
