The cheat sheet has grown quite a bit since inception, and should be looked over as a whole to see if there is any optimizations that can be made to overall data presentation.

  • See if there is any extraneous data that can be removed as its not needed practically (wiki should always have the in depth details to reference)
  • Can any data be moved to another sheet?

Evaluate the following Examples (Ref: https://www.reddit.com/r/factorio/comments/c9xc0a/factorio_cheat_sheet_update_july_19/)

  • Belt throughput section feels like a lot of space and text to tell me something I can see when hovering over a belt. (assuming I didn't know this most basic fact by heart) The "X needed to fill a Y/R/B belt" in later sections tells me the same, but in a useful way.
  • I can see the use of having the most common balancers. But it's only a fraction of the available balancers, so I already have a secondary source (BP book) for this. Making this sheet obsolete for me.
  • Basic power section is only relevant if you're powering a large base on steam. I personally move on to solar or nuclear long before this becomes useful. And even then, I don't think it provides any information I'd need.
  • There's a lot of stuff that I'd categorize as "interesting facts". These may be nice to know, but not something I'll ever need in game. For instance I believe something like the vehicle fuel is great for a wiki, but I don't see any practical reason why I should know my trains peak at 272.2 km/h.
  • Information on trains, railway signalling/troubleshooting (troubleshooting in particular), and circuitry. I feel the inclusion of any more information on trains would be invaluable. The guide links help quite a bit already however.

My unsolicited opinion: move train fuel bonuses, train colors to their own page. Low priority info.
Instead, have basics of train stations and intersections. Especially the "golden rule" of signals https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=875859174
