family history

When you've built out a great big family tree and you want to share it with relatives, one of the biggest challenges is how to draw the user to the good stuff, and how to give an overall picture of all the data. The family history section is where you can put together a narrative for each branch of your family: important migrations and connections down to then present day, person/family links, whatever you want to highlight.

For each branch you define, put an html file with that branch history: naming convention "Smith.html", saved under templates/familytree/custom/family_history. These will be displayed (to users who can access that branch) on the Family History page.
