Super simple script that searches Guitar Center's used gear section for items you're looking for.
- Install dependencies with your preferred package manager
- Copy
config/example-config.mjsto a newconfig/config.mjs - Modify contents with your preferred search terms and email address
- Set up environment variables (see below)
- Run with
yarn startornpm start - (Optionally) set up periodic execution with cronjob or equivalent
You can either use your actual environment or you can set up a .env file in the project root.

For example, mine is set up with:

If you don't see the category you're interested in in the categories file (config/categories.mjs), feel free to add new ones. Just copy the endpoint for the section from the Guitar Center website and add it to the file like the rest of them. Try to make the category as specific as possible for your given search terms because the broader the category, the longer the runtime.
