Codespaces allows a developer to come to your repo and contribute directly by spinning up a container with all the required tooling and automatically opens VS Code in your browser. I think of it as a drive through for Developers which lowers the barrier of entry to contribute to any project. I do understand that this container spec doesn't suit Emporous, but I feel it's a good way to showcase what Codespaces is. It comes from this repo I have created for Ortelius, https://github.com/ortelius/dev-env-setup. It was very nice to meet some of you yesterday my evening, probably your morning. :-)
P.S The container can be linked to a specific branch.
