如今，FileStar全网算力已达到36PiB。为了让更多矿工能够加入到网络中，我们发布了v1.2.0版本Inflation（膨胀）。
它包括以下改变：

  1. 支持8GiB扇区；
  2. 提高block gas limit；
  3. 修复了一些bug。

通过这些改变，更多的矿机设备（例如基于Intel CPU的服务器）将获得网络的准入，参与到FileStar的挖矿中来。

该版本是一次强制升级。分叉将会发生在高度184560，即北京时间12月30日下午2点。请在这之前完成升级。分叉之后，8GiB扇区的矿工账户将开放注册，矿工可以通过lotus-miner init --sector-size 8GiB命令来完成注册。8GiB扇区的封装过程对硬件的要求大幅度降低，且封装效率提升了一倍左右。这是一次非常具有创新性的尝试，它将大幅度节省存储和检索的时间。我们坚信这将对更多的矿工和技术爱好者敞开Web 3.0的大门。



Today, the Network Storage Power of FileStar has reached 36 PiB. In order to allow more miners to join the network, we released version v1.2.0 (Inflation).
It includes the following changes:

  1. Support 8GiB sector;
  2. Increase the block gas limit;
  3. Fixed some bugs.

Through these changes, more mining machines (such as Intel CPU-based servers) will gain access to the network and participate in FileStar mining.

This version is a mandatory upgrade. The fork will happen at the height of 184560, which is 2 PM on December 30th, GMT+8. Please complete the upgrade before then. After the fork, miner accounts for the 8GiB sector will be open for registration. Miners can complete the registration by command lotus-miner init --sector-size 8GiB. The sealing process of the 8GiB sector has greatly reduced the hardware requirements, and the sealing efficiency has been doubled. This is a very innovative attempt, which will greatly save storage and retrieval time. We firmly believe that this will open the door of Web 3.0 to more miners and technology enthusiasts.
