This patch removes 'vars' files from roles for unsupported distributions and change minimum supported Fedora to version 34+.

Based on this document this is the base of CentOS Stream 9/RHEL 9.

As discussed offline, I'm changing Fedora minimum supported version to 40.

This patch removes 'vars' files from roles for unsupported distributions
and change minimum supported Fedora to version 40+.
