This is an early release to allow access to SMS images only.

Select the image set you want & extract them to the /System/Library/Images/ directory on your SD card.

Images go in the gg subdirectory, which is already contained inside the zips. Since this is also the Game Gear directory, if you're prompted to overwrite a file or directory, you should probably say no.
