I spent an entire day troubleshooting Elastic to figure out why my log values weren't being published by the local collector, even though they were available in my local telemetry setup with Aspire. It turns out Elastic ignores all data when you publish values at the parent node level. 🤷🏻
To prevent future developers from being caught off guard by this issue, I made some adjustments to fix the problem.
