Why doest this fork exist?

Well on September 25 2023 I opened this PR.

After a while I noticed that the last commit on the repository was on Jan 29, 2023 and there was no activity on that repository anymore. I then decided to close my PR and merge some other PRs that were open.

Slowly I started maintaining this, trying to solve issues and merge PRs. I'm still not good with Lua, this is the first time I really used it, so my code is not that great but I'm trying my best!

What now?

Since I'm studying college and I'm not paid for doing FOSS I cannot afford to spend too much time on this. But IMHO it's better than leaving this abandoned.

Because of this I ask you to be patient with me. Like I said I'm not paid and I'm doing this in what's left of my free time.

Plans

What I want to do the most is rewrite the init.lua file.

In my opinion it grew too large to be one file and it's hard to maintain for me. To steer this project into the future I think it's beneficial to make the code more readable to make contributions both from me and others easier to do and review.
