Hi there 👋, my name is Joshua Guinness

I am a hardworking and curious software engineer who brings integrity, leadership, communication, and initiative to every project or team.

I am currently a Software Engineering @ Red Arc building apps and integrations in the non-profit and charity space. I was most recently a Software Development Engineer @ Amazon. I am also a graduate of McMaster's Software Engineering & Management program.

My primary expertise lies in building full stack web applications in Javascript/Typescript, Java, Python, React, Angular on AWS. I also have experience in software testing, DevOps, and a variety of other languages, frameworks, and technologies.

In my free time, I like to go for runs, play or watch sports (especially Basketball and F1), grab food with friends, or spend time with my wife, Sophia.
