Welcome to the zoo wiki!
zoo is a project that I started as a means to develop a series of interconnected cloud-native polyglot applications for the purpose of deploying the lot into an OpenShift cluster enabled with Red Hat Service Mesh. All of the services contained in the series will be designed for inclusion in the service mesh. The following design decisions were made:
- OpenShift 4.3+
- Red Hat Service Mesh 1.1+ (2.x when it releases)
- mTLS enabled mesh-wide
- North/South traffic into/out of the mesh will be via the OpenShift Router
- Kiali will be used for observability / ad-hoc mesh updates (e.g. changing traffic weighting/routing rules)
The rest of the pages in this wiki denote the residents of the zoo (the constituent mesh participants)
