Dynamic Difficulty Adjustment of the AI in a First-Person Shooter Game
Extract the 6001CEM Packaged game folder from 6001CEM Packaged.zip anywhere you wish.
The game can be started by running CEM6001.exe (located inside 6001CEM Packaged).
- WASD – Movement
- Left Click – Fire weapon
- Shift – Run/Sprint
- ESC – Pause Menu
Shoot and defeat enemies to accrue score points, displayed in the lower right corner of the screen. The amount of gained score points is relative to the difficulty of the enemy.
Your health bar is displayed in the lower left corner of the screen, and it regenerate as long as you are not getting hit.
Press ESC to pause the game, view current round statistics. From the pause menu you can resume the game, go back to main menu, or exit to desktop.
Hint: If playing on dynamic difficulty with threat level indicator enabled, the dynamic difficulty score based on your performance will be displayed in the upper right corner of the screen. The better you play, the higher it will go, but the enemies will also become more aggressive and gain increased awareness and combat capabilities.
