Installation Prerequisites
Ensure you have the following installed:
Python: Version 3.12 or later.
Sublime Text (Optional): The script will use nano if Sublime Text is not installed.
Apache: Ensure Apache is installed and running on your system.
Steps to Install
Clone the repository to your preferred directory:
git clone https://github.com/m5trevino/apache-genie.git /path/to/your/directory
Replace /path/to/your/directory with the desired directory path.
Navigate to the directory:
cd /path/to/your/directory
Install dependencies using pip:
pip install -r requirements.txt
Add Apache Genie to your system's PATH for system-wide access:
sudo ln -s /path/to/your/directory/apache-genie.py /usr/local/bin/apache-genie
After this, you can run the script using:
apache-genie

To start the script, simply type:
apache-genie

The script will automatically detect whether Sublime Text is installed. If not, it will use nano for editing configuration files.
