The LinguaLeo Linux client

LinguaLeo is a simple, Qt based, English-Rusian online translator for Linux.

This is an unofficial version. Only Fedora 29 is supported now.

Installation

sudo dnf install https://github.com/m0r1k/LinguaLeo/raw/master/rpms/x86_64/lingualeo-1.0.2-1.x86_64.rpm

Usage

Execution

KDE Plasma desktop:

• All applications -> Education -> Languages -> LinguaLeo

or

• Alt+F2 -> lingualeo

or

• terminal -> lingualeo

After starting a Leo icon in the toolbar should appear. Please do left-click on it to open a Leo window and select 'Settings' tab. Setup your https://lingualeo.com/ credentials to connect to the Leo site.

Note: your credentials will be saved unencrypted to the ~/.config/lingualeo/main.ini config file.

Translation

Once LinguaLeo app will be started, press Ctrl+Shift and select text to translate. If you cannot select text (some terminals) while ctrl+shift are pressed, you can hold ctrl+shift after selection.
