Many improvements to the filtering, better variant characterization. It also some big improvements in the memory consumption of the Tesserae model (many thanks to Karl Johan Westrin and Winni Kretzschmar for these contributions!).

The API has settled down and is ready for public use. Documentation forthcoming.

This release captures the state of the code at the release time of the "Corticall" manuscript.
