You may need to re-configure Windows Default Audio Format if you see an error like the following:
C:\splishsplash>splish.exe 192.168.0.191
Unsupported wave format: 32 bits per sample, 2 channels, 48000 samples / sec.
Failed to initialize audio capturing: -2147467259
Here are the steps:
- Open the Sound Control Panel (e.g. Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound)
- Click on the default playback device (if there's more than one, there should be one that says "Default Device") and click the Properties button.
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Change the Default Format to "16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD Quality)" or "24 bit, 44100 Hz (Studio Quality)". The important thing is that it's 44100Hz.
- Click OK.
Now try using Splish Splash again. You may need to repeat this process on both the source and destination PC's.
