Configuration

Configuration of SSM:

SSM is best and recommended to be configured using SSM under the Settings page.

Alternatively, it can be edited using the configuration file SSM.json.
Editing the SSM.json directly is for advanced users and is not recommended.

SSM.json Locations:

Linux:

SSM.json for linux is located in ~/.SatisfactoryServerManager

Windows:

SSM.json for windows is located in C:\ProgramData\SatisfactoryServerManager

Adding SSM Users (Advanced):

Adding users to control your server is done through the Web UI.

Note: Adding users can be dangerous and can lead to vulnerabilities on your server.

To add a new user to access to SSM, open WebUI and login as the admin user account. Navigate to the Admin page and click the Add User button in the Users section.

Fill out the User name field and what Role the new user will be. The role will control what the user can do in the UI. Once completed click the Add User button to complete.

The new user account is now created. The user can now login to SSM using the default password of ssm (all lowercase). The user will then be asked to reset the password to their choosing.
