I'm suspecting my PR adding latex Michael-F-Bryan/mdbook-linkcheck#81 will never be merged because the author does not seem to be responsive.
I created a fork of the repo (https://github.com/o1-labs/mdbook-linkcheck) with the features added on, so now latex support is on, and the links are checked as they should 🎉
I also fixed some errors/warnings in the book.
