KiCost

It looks like KiCost was removed after the Octopart API access rules changed. KiCost later changed to the Kitspace PartInfo API. I added it back in.

I have not yet integrated it into the Makefile, or done any documentation work.

Cool! Indeed, I never got it fully integrated because I started just trying after the octopart change.

@obra my Make-fu is not what it used to be. We can get KiCost to work relatively easily by having it take the BOM csv. Do we want to

• set up file dependencies or whatever make calls them so that we aren't regenerating them all the time (which would probably end up depending upon the sch and kicad-pcb and so on)
• always regen the csv when we run kicost
• something else?

Also, KiCost can take a few parameters. Do we want to have a config file, or tell folks to edit the Makefile they copy in, or what?

There are likely two "normal" modes of operation: 1) "I just want the kicost file" In this case, I'd say we should generate a fresh bom 2) "I want everything" In this case, they ran "make fabrication-outputs" or "make all" and we can use the bom that's generated on the fly.

I'm a big fan of sensible, but overridable defaults. So I'd say "if they set up a config file, use it. otherwise, default to something not-stupid" Ideally, our Makefile would be something that's either used unmodified or included from a custom Makefile. I want to try to help people avoid getting stuck on an old, hacked up Makefile.
