I've really just used build-data.py to update html.htmx-data.json to the latest, and I believe final, v1 release of HTMX.

I was planning on creating my own VS Code extension for HTMX v2 specifically to add data-* attribute support. If you're open to modifications, I don't mind redirecting some of that energy into this project instead.
