We're happy to announce the release of Slice Machine v2.11.0!

Over the last weeks, the team has been focusing on enhancing Prismic link field capabilities to simplify how developers build their links and CTAs. And as promised we're coming up with a great improvement: repeatable links

🔗 Repeatable links

  • We're upgrading our link field to let developers add the possibility for editors to create lists of links in the Prismic Page Builder, without needing a group field for it.

How to use it?

In Slice Machine, add a link field in one of your slices or Custom Type / Page Type. Open the field settings. By default, the repeat property will be set to false. Click on the checkbox to make your link field repeatable. Push your changes to your Page Builder.

In the Page Builder, add the slice to a page and start creating a list of links. As for the group field, each item can be edited/removed or reordered.

How does this simplify your workflow?

Instead of having to manually create a group field in Slice Machine and add a link field inside, you can simply use this property in your link fields.
