Description

This proposal is similar in scope to #2596 and is inspired by Jonah's review of a PR linked below (in the "Sources" section of this issue).

Like the Productivity Tools page, I think that the Android recommendations page would benefit from not only making each section its own page—each section already has its own distinct criteria—but also having a dedicated index page similar to the one created for Windows in the Knowledge Base.

What this would look like in practice:

  • Android overview page, similar to the one for operating systems in the KB (current intro for the Android page is already good for this purpose)
    • Custom Operating Systems
    • Obtaining Applications
    • General Apps

(Device recommendations would be housed in the new "Hardware" section as discussed in #2594 (comment).)
