This merge request is based on this pull request which was not merged. I originally used this code, since I had issues with the focus moving incorrectly between two screens, which were solved when I used this script.
I have also updated the code to work with qtile version 0.28.1 without deprecation warnings. I have used this traverse function in my setup for a week now without any issues
