Hey, thank you, this is similar to causal APRS AFSK devices, but uses LoRa modem on esp32 to send and receive AX.25 UI packets. Probably, the easiest way to learn is just to setup arps-is node and configure second modem as a client, so you can drive and see your locations on APRS, or just make a branch and make customization for your needs. It is also possible to setup ax25 packet node with BBS, it is compatible with ax25 linux tools. Or do you have some concerns about license? This is causal open source GNU General Public License some libraries used by this project are GPL, so I have to inherit not only code, but also GPL.
