For the multivariate extension I'd like to check whether a link function is supporting certain types of inputs.

For link functions specifically for square matrices like covariances this is not straight-forward - we don't want people to use univariate distributions with link functions for covariances or so.

I guess we can close this as #57 is close to be finished. Otherwise we should rebase this on main after #57 is merged.

Close and not merge, wait until multivariate is actually ready to be implemented.
