minor #864 Update PHP and JavaScript dependencies (javiereguiluz)

This PR was squashed before being merged into the master branch (closes #864).

Discussion
----------

Update PHP and JavaScript dependencies

The idea is to merge this and release a new version. Later, as usual, we'll update the PHP deps to `dev-master` so we can test the upcoming Symfony 4.2 version before it's released so we can report any issue or bug.
