This is MicroPlanet Gravity, an opensource news reader for Microsoft Windows. The previous maintainer has not updated the code for over 10 years, but I still use it when I'm on Windows to read mailing lists on gmane.
I've decided to adopt it and make new releases.
I've updated the code to compile with Visual Studio 2019, fixed a few bugs and crashes, and added a few features I've wanted. I've also modified it to build with GNU make and WiX my preferred build and install systems.

Just want an installer? Click Here!
I use GNU make, you can install it from here.
If you want to build the installer, you also need the WiX toolset.
Open a "Developer Command Prompt", navigate to the directory where you checked out these sources, and type make.
C:\..\mpgravity> make
As far as I know, you only need MSVC
, MFC
and the SDK
components of
Visual Studio.
