There are various ways in which you can find information about the project and get in touch with other participants. The list below attempts to be complete, with a short description of the content and purpose of each channel.
- The homepage (shortened URL: http://dft.ba/-rsh ). It provides a quick impression of the project, download links and pointers to the other spots.
- The forum thread (shortened URL to opening post: http://dft.ba/-rst ). Here you can dig in our historical archives, introduce yourself, ask questions, coin ideas, or find announcements.
- The IRC channel: #redspider at foonetic.net. Also known as a chatroom. Currently it lacks critical mass, sometimes you might find it empty. Please go here as often as you can, the more people the merrier.
- The GitHub repository (shortened URL: http://dft.ba/-rsrr ). It contains our sourcecode. From this page you can also reach:
- The Readme file (if you just scroll down). It serves as offline documentation for those who download the source and as a way to comply with the common practice on GitHub.
- The Network tab (shortened ULR: http://dft.ba/-rsnw ), which will show you a lovely graph of who did what when.
- The Issues tab (shortened URL: http://dft.ba/-rsis ), where you can report bugs, request features, track progress of concrete plans, etcetera.
- The Wiki tab leading to this very wiki (shortened URL: http://dft.ba/-rsw ). This should become a central place where people can find answers to common questions like "how do I join", "what can I do", "how does it work", and so on.
- In addition to the abovementioned pages, GitHub offers two more ways to communicate:
- you can comment on commits to let people know what you think, and
- you can receive automatic updates through email and/or the website every time something happens.
