Change website to look better with new logo #1920

We are changing the logo in #1919. However, there are a few improvements we can make

Remove the background from the footer
The Documentation link on the landing page is no longer "boxed". We should fix that
Re-skin the whole website to match colors better. Here is a mockup of what that might look like
