I am seeing errors with an abstract base class that declares @resource, I believe the reason this fails is because Class.getDeclaredMethods only returns the current classes methods, not base classes (getDeclaredField with a fieldname parameter will grab base classes). A work around is to annotate the field instead of the method.
This patch adds recursion to the findWriteMethod method.
The exception I got on JBoss 6.1 startup was: java.lang.RuntimeException: org.jboss.injection.injector.util.NoSuchPropertyException: No such property setSessionContext
