removing R code, sort eigen values and vectors before optimising

This is an effort to remove R code from mixed sovle function.

The key change is to sort eigen values/vectors before optimsing lambda.

The changed code gives consistant results for our testing problems.

But it needs the authors to evaluate the change and see if my input is useful
