Introduction

Ontosunburst is a package for analyzing weighted sets of concepts, using ontologies to take account of the hierarchical relationships between these different concepts.

These hierarchical relationships are translated into the form of a tree and then visualized as a sunburst figure.

The advantage of the method is that it offers different levels of abstraction for interpreting these sets without loss of information.

The method can be applied to a wide range of concepts and associated ontologies, and even allows you to use your own locally-defined ontology.
