The Spring Festival is about to come. Happy new year!
Well, I've been back home from school for 2 weeks. I got more time to develop this mod. Now let's see what I had done.
- Friendly fire config
- Nature multipliers
- Failed captures can be counted as provocation
- Wild Pokemon will no longer be taunted if do_pokemon_attack_unprovoked is set to false
- Reworked Poke Staff
- It will affect the party Pokemon you selected on the left side of your screen now.
- Added keybinds for Poke Staff, no default keybinds. Choose the ones you need.
- Reworked damage calculation
- Slightly increased the Pokemons' damage
- Maximum damage and minimum damage no longer take part in the damage calculation. They're just a limit now.
- The default value of the maximum damage is increased to 50.(Very hard to reach by default. Please notice that this won't change your value automatically if you're updating this from an old version)
- Fix the bug that wild range attackers attack players in battle

Happy new year! I'm preparing for exams these days, and it's not over yet. So let's make it quick, here comes another unofficial update for Cobblemon Fight of Flight. I'm quite busy these days and I don't have a 1.21.1 save to play for 10+ hours this time. I just tested the features in a new save for 1-2 hours and it shouldn't crash your games easily. Feel free to leave your feedback and bug reports.
This version will only be released on github as it's not an official update and rufia hasn't abandoned this project completely.
Update: Vaniron just made a new page on both curseforge and modrinth, and I joined. The updates might be released there in the future. Please pay attention that the v0.7.0 doesn't have the Pokestaff functions.(Though they are still unfinished.)
Check readme.md for the full features list if you didn't try v0.6.0 before or you want more details about these features, I will list the new features & changes since v0.6.1 below:
- Moves like earthquake that hurts all pokemon around will hurt the entities nearby when the Pokemon hits the target.(The special moves will use the melee attack, too.)
- Type effectiveness for some non-pokemon entities These effects don't strictly follow the rules of Pokemon, instead, they are more closely related to minecraft itself
- Health mechanic reworked
- Some held item will offer damage boost(type-enhancing items, Choice Specs, Choice Band, Muscle Band,Choice Glasses, Life orb)
- The sheer force will boost all moves' damage, but the move can no longer apply effects to the entities.(e.g. fire type move will no longer set the entity on fire)
- Balance change: increase the maximum damage and increased the stat requirement slightly to encourage to player to try damage-enhancing items more at the early game.
- Ball projectiles will cause an explosion when hitting something. Explosion caused by fire type moves will ignite the ground.(I personally doesn't like mob griefing, so I disabled it by default. You need to enable it manually. Sorry about that.)

Introduction
I'm the contributor of the range attack ability(the new version is not released on curseforge or modrinth, but the pr was merged).I created a new pr three weeks ago and received no reply from rufia. I know he might be busy somewhere, but I also know that there are many people who love Cobblemon and this mod like me, so I decided to release a new unofficial update. I've added some new feature since my last update, including the animation support. I've been using the fabric version of this release for 10+ hours so I'm sure that it won't crash your game but it's still possible to have some minor bugs due to the lack of the feedback.

- Animation Support Support for animations from cobblemon mod when attacking(These animations are not designed for this mod so it might be weird)
- Wild Pokemon cries correctly when provoked.
- Player's Pokemon can taunt wild Pokemon.
- Added a new hotkey that let your pokemon start a battle with the pokemon that tries to attack you.
- Some abilities(intimidate, unnerve, pressure) can lower the nearby pokemon's aggro.
- The Wimpod line Pokemon will be recalled when taking damage and the health is below 50%.
- Using move outside battle can be used to evolve a Pokemon like Annihilape.
- Pokemon aiming optimization, increasing the accuracy.
- More specific move classification.
- The projectiles of ball and bomb moves can cause a small explosion that don't break the blocks.
- Balance tweaks.
- Bug fixes.
