“Minimize_Del_H_2D” is a core function in Poly-XTAL Operations. It extracts the necessary inputs from the text files stored on the hard drive by “WRITE___INPUT_PARAMS___Struct()”. The actual solver is contained inside the MATLAB function definition file “KERNEL__LOOP_MC_2D____ALGORITHM_[XX]”, where XX indicates the algorithm number indicated in red font below the function name, without the square parenthesis of-course. Algorithm #‘05’ does not consider any KWF or 2nd phase particles and is fastest. Such specificities of the algorithms are provided in the lower row next to the function name in the above figure. The outputs are then dumped to text file “S_MMM_cas1.txt”, where MMM is the Monte-Carlo simulation time. Options to store evolving Hamiltonian and change in Hamiltonian are also there.
